Reagan Farris is the Chaplin and Spiritual Life Director at Providence Christian School in Dothan, Alabama. He is also a teacher. Previously, he was co-youth pastor with Mark Hall (Casting Crowns) at Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church and Christian Academy in McDonough, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. ELCA is one of the largest Christian Schools in Georgia with Providence Christian being one of the largest in the state of Alabama.
His passion is to connect the simple truth of God’s word to the complicated lives of students. His greatest desire is to see students understand the level of intimacy God desires to have with them and to see them chase after Him with their whole heart. When a student begins to nurture their OWN relationship with Jesus, the overflow of that will be an ordinary life turned extraordinary. They won't be able to keep from sharing their faith, influencing a confused and dark culture, and living with standards and convictions – not because they are suppose to or it’s the “Christian Rules,” but because they will desire nothing more than to make their Lord smile with their lives, friendships, relationships, and decisions. They will want to know God’s Word and live it! They will be in love! They will be a true disciple!

Scott Davis is probably best known for his humor. Having traveled the United States and over 25 countries, Scott has spoken to all ages, connecting in a real-life way. The Get Real Conferences started from Scott's passion to do something unique for all Christian Schools, knowing that most schools are small. This conference is a way for schools of any size to be a part of something on a large scale that they individually could not afford.
Since the mid-1990's Scott has been a frequent Spiritual Emphasis speaker for schools everywhere and a regular with the Association of Christian Schools International.
RYAN GARRETT | HIGH SCHOOL BREAKOUT SPEAKER | Speaker, Student Minister, LifePoint Church, Smyrna, TN
Ryan is the Student Minister at LifePoint Church in Smyrna, Tennessee. Prior to that, he was Student Minister at Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, Georgia with Pastor Michael Youssef. He has many passions in life, but there are three that top his list. Number one, his main focus and passion is Jesus. His desire is to love God with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. Secondly, his passion is his family. He is the husband of the beautiful Megan Garrett (Casting Crowns) and the father of three amazing children: Lillie, Lucie, and Eli. Lastly, he longs to make Jesus’ name famous by ongoing disciple-making. He lives by the phrase, “Love God, Reach People, Make Disciples.”
Ryan will bring timely teaching for students in regards to social media and how that affects our spiritual lives.
DR. BILL CURTIS | TEACHER BREAKOUT SPEAKER | Pastor, Author, Teacher, Speaker, Professor at Liberty University, Darlington, SC
Dr. Bill Curtis is the Lead Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, in Darlington, SC. An award-winning author, his works include Engaging Exposition, Exalting Jesus in Micah, 30 Days to James, Gypsy Smith: The Forgotten Evangelist, and A Legacy of Preaching. He is an Associate Professor of preaching at the Liberty University School of Divinity and the co-founder of The Pillar Network for Church Planting.
Bill serves as our Emcee for all the One Real Day and Get Real Conferences. He also leads the Teacher’s Breakout Session. With his practical teaching style, he equips teachers, faculty, and staff with tools to help them view teaching as a ministry and not just a job.
RV BROWN | SPECIAL GUEST | Author & Speaker, Former Football Coach and Player, President of Outreach to America's Youth, Inc.
RV Brown is founder and President of Outreach to America's Youth, Inc. (O.T.A.Y.) RV received his B.S. degree from South Carolina State University. He played football all four years. He received certificates of training from Community Intervention, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also received a certificate from Morehouse School of Medicine and Drug Abuse in the Community.
RV conducts Breaking The Chain school assemblies in middle and high schools. In 2003, RV received the honor of being inducted into the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Hall of Champions.
BILLY LORD | WORSHIP BREAKOUT SPEAKER | Worship Leader, Singer/Songwriter, Director of Worship Arts
Billy has been in full-time concert/worship ministry for over 30 years. He is now the Director of Worship Arts at Eagle's Landing Church and Academy in McDonough, Georgia. Having been one of the Get Real Team members since it's inception, Billy knows how to connect with students on a "worship" level.
During his Worship Breakout Session, he instills into students what it means to "Biblically" lead worship. For students interested in leading worship at their school for chapels or in their home church, Billy will assist in teaching them how to do just that with a true focus on Christ!
